Before having a child independently in a group we first have an adjustment period with the purpose of giving the child and the educators the occasion to learn to know each other gradually. The adjustment period takes two weeks, on the days of contract, after this will be the startdate.
On the first day you are asked to come together with your child at 9.30am to the group.
You will have another short intake with the group leader about the day rhythm of your child and other relevant information, after you stay with your child until 12am at the group.
The second day you bring your child from 09.30am to 12.30pm, which gives the educators a full morning for getting acquainted with him or her.
The third day you bring your child from 09.30am to 15.00pm and pick him or her up after the afternoon rest, which allows the educators also to attend the sleeping time.
On the fourth day you bring your child from 09.30am to 5pm which gives the educators a realistic impression of his or her daily rhythm.
As soon as this day has ended well, we consider the accustoming period completed.
We think it is important that both parents and children will feel comfortable at Bambini.
In order to optimize this well-being, we make use of diary communication. In the diary you can read what kind of day your child has enjoyed.
For the first day it is important to bring the following:

In Bambini NSO we give the child occasion to accustom more or less one week beforehand.
This happens from 4 pm to 5.30 pm that allows the child to get used to the kids in his or her group and to learn to know well the educator that will take him or her from school.
On the first day of this accustoming period parents will have another short intake for giving the final relevant information.
In principle you don’t have to give anything to your child for the afterschool care then only some clean extra clothes for in the anti-louse bag in case needed.
