2.00 pm to 3:30 pm (and on Wednesday from 11:00 am)
The children are taken out of school by the educators of Bambini. We try as much as possible to send the same workers to the same school, which makes recognizable to the children and teachers at the school.
The children are transported in Bambini’s cars, provided with seat boosters for children who need them.
Extra attention is paid to wearing the seat belts, which is also well checked before departure.
Upon entering the BSO, the children can store their coats and bags in a lice bag provided by Bambini. In addition, the children take off their shoes and place them in the designated places.
Then the children can go to the toilet and wash their hands, as we would like to make a fresh and therefore clean start together with the children.
Now the children can go to their groups and have a free playing moment, until all children are present in the building.
3:30 pm to 3:45 pm
The children are asked to put back their toys, and asked again if they have washed their hands after which they are allowed to take a seat at their table.
3:45 pm to 4:15 pm
During this time, the children receive a vegetarian hot meal. This is prepared daily with fresh vegetables in our own kitchen. We try to put together a new weekly menu every week with a lot of variety. The meal ends daily with a portion of fresh fruit.
After the meals, the children can wash their hands and take a seat in the living room.
4:15 pm to 4:30 pm
In the living room we talk with the children about anything important to them, and possibly celebrate birthdays.
After that, we look whether the children wish and can play outside.
If so, the children are asked to put on their coats and take their things, and to put on a clean yellow safety jacket.
4:30 pm to 6:00 pm
In this period, the children can choose what they are going to do. They are allowed to play with one of the many toys in the building, or to get on stage, or at the football table, or to use one of the computers.
Once a week we have a cinema day, every week at another day, when the children can choose to watch a movie in our indoor cinema.
At the BSO there is also the possibility for the children to do their homework, eventually also under supervision. As a parent, you can indicate this need to one of the pedagogical workers.
6:00 pm to 6:30 pm
The children are asked to clean up and choose a quiet game at the table, until they are being picked up.
Day schedule in the holidays and on study days.
The BSO is open every holiday but you will be asked in advance if your child is present during the holiday by filling-the list.
On study days of school we are only open if 5 children or more have signed up for that day.
During the holidays and on study days we are open (from 5 children or more) from 8:30 am to 6:30pm and we maintain the daily schedule of the nursery.
During the holidays we have a daily theme day or a trip such as Artis Zoo or Raceplanet. No additional costs will be charged for your child. All trips and costs are at the expense of the BSO and will not be recovered from you.
